I Feel Like An Outsider During Award Season: Seth Rogen

Pineapple Express actor Seth Rogan has recently opened up about the state of Hollywood. The actor believes that there is a hierarchy which is not that favourable to comedy films. Seth shared, “Whenever awards season happens I sure feel like an outsider because no comedy ever gets nominated for any awards in any way, shape of form. There's a hierarchy in Hollywood and comedy's at the bottom of it”.

Talking about his friend Adam McKay winning the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for his film ‘The Bog Short’, the 34-year-old actor stated, “It's nice that Adam McKay won an Academy Award. That was like a huge step in the right direction, I think, and that movie is actually really funny, but I for sure feel like an outsider in a lot of ways because yeah I don't get invited to those cool parties”. ‘The Big Short’ starred Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt and Steve Carell.

On the work front, Seth was last seen in ‘The Night Before’ where he shared screen space with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie. He will soon be seen in ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ which will hit the screens on May 20. The movie brings back Zac Efron and Rose Byrne from the original.
