Jack Paglen to pen screenplay of Prometheus sequel

The screenwriter of the upcoming film, Transcendence has been roped in to write the script of Prometheus sequel. Earlier it was reported that Damon Lindelof, screenwriter of Prometheus would not be penning the script for the second part of the science fiction flick and with this news of hiring Jack Paglen for the same has confirmed Damon’s adieu from Prometheus 2. The prequel of the film was a hit and 20th Century Fox is willing to capitalize on that with the mooted sequel.

At present, Jack has penned the screenplay for cinematographer turned director, Christopher Nolan’s Transcendence. Prometheus’s story revolves around the universe of aliens and a faction of discoverers and scientists go on a secret operation and how they ultimately landed up on a planet miles away from Earth. They go on to examine the possibility of civilization on that planet. But things soon turn from thrill of discovering new things to one’s survival inside the alien’s universe.

Though nothing much has been revealed about the Alien sequel of sorts, Prometheus, but it is pretty much expected that this time the story will move around the aliens than the explorers.
