This is time for Jackie Chan’s lovers to know more and more about their favourite action-hero as the actor is all set to share his entire life in an artistic mode, a musical. It will be a stage-adaptation of his 1998 memoir I Am Jackie Chan: My Life in Action.

The iconic action hero from Hong Kong has revealed that he has been writing the script for the musical on his own. While attending a press meet at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York, Chan told, "We are looking for a director for the musical right now. It's all very exciting," as reported by THR. It will revolve around his parents, his educational life at the Peking Opera School and his introduction to stardom.

The show will also show his early struggling life as an entertainer when he used to perform with a children’s group, the Seven Little Fortunes. It will also show his great efforts to give himself an individual identity from fellow martial-arts film star Bruce Lee. The 59-year-old legendary star who redefined the action genre also received a prestigious lifetime achievement award from the New York Asian Film Festival, following the screening of his latest flick Chinese Zodiac.
