James Badge Dale takes on supernatural thriller Spectral

Dan Reid of The Lone Ranger, James Badge Dale is in talks to be the lead face of a supernatural thriller titled ‘Spectral’. The flick to be made under Legendary Entertainment banner is termed as Black Hawk Down. The movie to be directed by Nic Mathieu, tells the story of a special-ops team that fights against supernatural beings that have invaded New York City.

George Nolfi wrote the original script of the film, while rewriting of the same is done by John Gatins. Universal Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of Spectral, whereas producers are still unknown. Badge’s association is yet not announced official as the developments are in pipeline. Dale was last seen in Parkland as Robert Edward Lee Oswald Jr. and will be seen in an upcoming flick Stretch.
