Jared Leto’s Oscar trophy damaged

It’s been three days only since the 86th Academy Awards took place on March 2 at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and actor Jared Leto has already damaged his trophy. The actor won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his fine performance in Dallas Buyers Club, but, thanks to a freak accident, Leto’s award has attained a dent.

The actor said, “I was letting some of the people that I work with take a picture with the Oscar, and I was carrying downstairs and boom — I hit the railing on the stairs and I put a little nick in the back of it.” And still, instead of keeping it at a safer place, he has kept it in his kitchen. He quoted, “The Oscar is sitting in my kitchen, guarded by some vegan butter and a bag of popcorn.”
