Javier Bardem Calls Johnny Depp A Gentleman

Actor Javier Bardem believes that Johnny Depp is a gentleman. Javier starred with Johnny in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'. He said that he got very close to the 53-year-old on the sets of the movie.

Speaking to GQ magazine, the Academy Award-winning star said, "With Johnny you can tell there is a very sensitive person there, a man who cares about people.” He went on to say that the Black Mass actor is funny as well as a brilliant actor at the same time. He called Johnny as an ‘exemplary’ actor whose sense of comedic timing is exceptional.

When asked what he thinks about Depp’s divorce from his wife actress Amber Heard which came amid claims of domestic abuse, the 48-year-old said, "That hasn't changed. Then there is the world outside the film studio, and I won't comment on these things because I don't know anything about them. But the Johnny I know is a gentleman.” Johnny and Amber split in May 2016 after 15 months of marriage.
