Gorgeous actress Jessica Chastain has come up with her honest thoughts on gender inequality in Hollywood. Recently, the Crimson Peak star shared her views, which had been published in a fashion magazine, on the issue. The Interstellar actress believes that being the only girl on a film set can make one feel like a sexual object.

"When you have both genders represented, then you have a healthier point of view”, stated the 39-year-old actress. Jessica added, "You don't feel a hierarchy; you don't have anyone feeling like they are being left out or bullied or humiliated. Sometimes, being the only girl on a set, you can feel like a sexual object”.

Earlier in an interview, the Martian star also lent her voice to the issue of pay gap between men and women. She said, "There's no reason why (an actress such as Jennifer Lawrence) should be doing a film with other actors and get paid less than her male co-stars. It's completely unfair. It's not right. It's been happening for years and years. I think it's brave to talk about it. I think everyone should talk about it”.

Reportedly, Jessica, along with other Hollywood celebrities, has recently formed a new non-profit organization dedicated to women empowerment called We Do It Together.
