Judd Apatow Is In Awe Of Jim Carrey

Actor Jim Carrey is a brilliant actor. The actor has several fans. And now there is one more person who is a big fan of his comedy antics.

Well, he is none other than director Judd Apatow, who is all praise for the way the actor entertains people with his comedy. According to the sources, Jude lauded Jim while presenting him the Generation Award trophy at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal on Friday. "He would go on stage every night and improvise his entire set. His goal was not to repeat one line from any other night. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life,” said Apatow.

The 49-year-old director said when he was young, he was asked by Carrey to co-write comedy sketches for which he was even paid 5000 USD. "That paid my rent for about a year," said Judd. Carrey also recalled the first meeting when a young Judd introduced himself to him. Carrey, who is a co-executive producer on Showtime's I'm Dying Up Here, appeared this week at Just For Laughs with the cast of the series.
