    James Cameron’s Titanic, which released in 1997, is one of the cult movies of Hollywood. The film released two decades back, but people love to see the flick again and again. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio impressed everyone with their amazing performance of Rose and Jack.



    And now the movie’s main lead Kate revealed some interesting information about it. In an interview where she was quizzed with a series of rapid-fire questions about the film, she said that she gave the audition with Matthew McConaughey. Paramount pictures wanted Matthew to play Jack, however the film’s director James insisted on Leonardo.



    When The Reader actress was asked about the same, she said, “I auditioned with Matthew -isn't that weird? Never said that in public before!!" She added, "I did, yes, I did. I auditioned with Matthew, which was completely fantastic. It just wouldn't have been the whole 'Jack and Rose, Kate and Leo' thing." Not just Matthew, but Christian Bale, Billy Crudup, and Johnny Depp also auditioned for Jack’s role.
