Kate Winslet opines: My love for acting is increasing with age

Actress Kate Winslet made her Hollywood debut in 1994 with Heavenly Creatures, and since then it has been 20 years in this business. She was just 17 when she did her first, and now when she is 38, she loves acting even more. Kate said, “I honestly think my love of acting increases as I get older. I feel just as privileged to do it now as I did when I was 17 in Peter Jackson’s ‘Heavenly Creat.”

The elegant actress also stated that even now she feels anxious on her first day at shoot. She quoted, “I tend to try and stick to doing just one movie a year so that I look forward to it. And when the next job rolls around and the alarm goes and it’s day one of a shoot I still have that nervous, excited, first-day-at-school feeling. I genuinely do.” Kate is presently shooting for A Little Chaos and The Dressmaker.
