Kevin Hart To Play Hitman In Action-Comedy 'On the Run'

Kevin Hart has been tapped to star in new action-comedy film 'On the Run'. Apart from acting, Kevin will also produce the movie through his company Hartbeat Productions along with Will Packer via his Will Packer Productions. Aeysha Carr will pen the script for the flick.

The movie will revolve around hitman, played by Kevin, whose assignment goes wrong when the target isn’t who he expects. Hart will next be seen in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which is set to release on Christmas. The film will also feature Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.

There were reports that he was approached to play the role of Genie in Guy Ritchie's live-action reboot of Aladdin, however later Will Smith got the part. Rumours are doing rounds that he might play the voice of the talking car KITT in a Knight Rider reboot. Besides, he also has John Candy’s The Great Outdoors, a third installment of the Ride Along franchise. If rumours are true, he will also be seen in Last Friday.
