Kevin James to star in The True Memoirs of an International Assassin

Kevin James is set to star in Jeff Wadlow’s The True Memoirs of an International Assassin. The movie has been described as an action-comedy. The film will be produced by Global Film Group and PalmStar Media. “We are ecstatic to be working with Kevin James on this project, and believe the film will resonate with audiences on a world-wide scale”, said Global Film Group partner Raja Collins.

The production of the movie is scheduled to begin in September. While Global Film Group and PalmStar Media will be producing the film, the project will also be bankrolled by Merced Media. Todd Garner of Global Film Group said, “Kevin and I are very excited to team up with PalmStar and Merced on ‘True Memoirs.’ This is going to be a fun, action-packed ride and will definitely show a side to Kevin that nobody has ever seen”. Frakes added, “We can’t wait to drop Kevin in these crazy and intense situations and let the world see the bad-ass he truly is”.

The film focuses upon a feeble accountant and a would-be author- played by Kevin James. James is erroneously taken for a contract killer when his novel about an assassin is published as a true story. In a bid to escape his sudden fame and celebrity status, he heads off to Belize, but is immediately jumbled in an assassination plot. Thrown into a world of real danger, he must find a way to channel his energy and save the day.
