Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been named the most searched celebrity online. In the new survey bybing.com, Kim topped the list of most searched celebrities online. The star has pushed last year’s winner Justin Bieber to the second place. Other celebrities who made to the list were -- Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, according tocontactmusic.com.

The birth of Beyonce and Jay Z’s baby became the most-searched celebrity event of the year, followed by the birth of Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell, and Whitney Houston's death. Whereas, the American presidential election, the London Summer Olympic Games, and South Korean rapper Psy'sGangnam Stylemusic video were the most popular news stories.
