Kristin Davis Shares Her Disappointment About Third ‘Sex and the City’ Film Not Being Made

Back in the day, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon were the hottest group of middle-aged women as they starred in ‘Sex and the City’, the film series based on the popular 1998 TV show by the same name. There have been two ‘Sex and the City’ films on the big screen and there were talks about a third instalment as well. But, to the disappointment of fans and the actors, the project is not going to see the light of day.

Recently, Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte Goldenblatt in the franchise, shared her disappointment about the third instalment not being made. She took to her Instagram handle and said that she loves to look back at the pictures from their show. “I am incredibly lucky to have gotten to play Charlotte through all of her ups and downs (epitomized in one of my favorite episodes here). It is true that we are not going to be able to make a 3rd film. I wish that we could have made the final chapter, on our own terms, to complete the stories of our characters”, she posted.

Kristin went on to say that it is “deeply frustrating” for her to not be able to share the next chapter. She revealed that Michael Patrick King had a script ready for the sequel. Earlier, in an interview with Extra, the actress had said that they had a “beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story” that they will not be able to share with the world.
