Reports are doing rounds that The Great Gatsby star Leonardo DiCaprio may visit Indian entertainment capital in the first month of 2014 after his The Wolf of Wall Street releases in the country this Christmas. The visit is believed to be a different kind of strategy by the actor, as told by a source.

One of the sources from the film’s distribution unit in India said, "His visit is likely to be a part of adifferent strategy, by way of which the `Titanic` star will meet some of India`s promising entrepreneurs.” "Leonardo sincerely believes that the character on whose life the film is based is a huge role model for the youth of today in terms of enterprising skills,” the source added. The Wolf of Wall Street is based on the life of Jordan Belfort who became a rich stockbroker but couldn’t continue with his success due to his treacherous methods.

The source added further, "The actor has learnt that India is a country booming with young firms and start-ups and hence he felt that more than an obvious promotion of the movie, a platform to interact with such a crowd of young enthusiasts would be a far better connect and a great opportunity.” Martin Scorsese-directed The Wolf of Wall Street will be distributed by PVR Pictures and MVP Entertainment in India. If the latest buzz is to be believed preparations are going on full-swing to welcome the Hollywood actor in a special way. Earlier rumours were heard twice that the actor is planning to visit the country, first for a tiger conservation project and then to promote Baz Luhrmann`s The Great Gatsby which also starred Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Now time will only tell if the much-awaited visit by DiCaprio will happen this time or not.
