Lucas Till will return to reprise his role as Havok in Bryan Singer’s X-Men Apocalypse, reports TheWrap. Bryan Singer made the announcement via Instagram. Till has previously appeared in X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past. The 24-year-old actor, who essays the role of the mutant Havok, has the power to absorb and discharge energy.

Recently, before Till’s announcement, Singer also confirmed that Olivia Munn would be joining the cast of the film. Although, Singer did not reveal the details of Till’s role, it will be interesting to see how Havok and Cyclops’ relationship plays out. Though, Havok and Cyclops are brothers in the Marvel comics, but they aren't siblings in the movies. "It wouldn't physically fit for him to be the brother of Cyclops. We take some liberties on that. There are notions, but, um, I don't want to give away certain interrelations, but let's just say there are some things that do adhere to the comic books and do so in a way the fans will get a kick out of", said Singer back in 2011.

The movie will be helmed by The Usual Suspects and Valkyrie director Bryan Singer. The flick will also feature James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac, Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner. The latest installment of the series, X-Men: Apocalypse, is slated to hit cinema halls on May 27, 2016.
