Mark Strong To Play Villain In DC's 'Shazam'?

If things go positively for Hollywood actor Mark Strong, he might be seen portraying the role of a villain in DC Extended Universe's upcoming movie 'Shazam'. Mark was last seen in action spy comedy film ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’. Reports are rife that the actor is in talks with the makers to return to the DC universe.

The flick stars Zachary Levi as the hero Captain Marvel and if things get thumps up, Mark will portray Doctor Sivana in the film. The 54-year-old actor has earlier played the classic DC villain Sinestro in 2011's 'Green Lantern'. Helmed by David F. Sandberg, the flick is being written by Henry Gayden.

David earlier helmed 'Annabelle: Creation'. The movie is about a boy who has been given the ability to become an adult superhero in times of need with a single magic word. The flick is expected to release in 2019.
