Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell officially re-unite for ‘Daddy’s Home’

Comic actor Will Ferrell and superstar Mark Wahlberg have been confirmed to come together for Sean Anders’s next ‘Daddy Home’. While we had reported the same news a few months back as a speculation, the reports seem to have been confirmed now. Both these actors had also worked together in 2010’s action comedy ‘The Other Guys’.

While Will Ferrell is classically known to star in comedies, Wahlberg too has found some good comic space for himself lately. Daddy’s Home is another interesting prospect about a man (Ferrell) who tries to be the most ideal stepfather to his wife’s two children until their real permissive father (Wahlberg) shows up.

The project would soon go under production and will perhaps release in early 2016. While Red Granite Pictures co-produces it, Paramount will join in to distribute it later. Sean Anders who has previously directed comedies like ‘Sex Drive’ and ‘That’s My Boy’, will try his luck on direction again.
