Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese says he loves 3D technology so much thatif he could go back in time, he would have filmed all his movies in the format. The 69-year-old fell in lovewith the format during the filming of Hugo, reported The Hollywood Reporter. "I would have practicallydone all my films in 3D. There is something that 3D gives to the picture that takes you into another landand you stay there and it's a good place to be," he said at the 2012 CinemaCon in Las Vegas. "It's likeseeing a moving sculpture of the actor and it's almost like a combination of theater and film combinedand it immerses you in the story more. I saw audiences care about the people more. The minute itstarted people wanted three things: color, sound and depth. You want to recreate life," he added.
