McDougall’s book follows the author as he digs into how the Tarahumara Indians, who live in Mexico’s Copper Canyons, have trained themselves to run for hundreds of miles without rest or injury. The story culminates in a race that pits the tribe against some of America’s top ultra-runners. McConaughey already has several films scheduled to release over the next two years. On the list is ‘The Free State of Jones,’ scheduled to release in 2016, and ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’. In 2015 he will star in the film ‘The Sea of Trees,’ one of the more popular 2015 releases.
