Mellody Hobson wife of George Lucas gives birth to a baby girl

Filmmaker George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson have welcomed a new addition to their family. Mellody has given birth to a baby girl via surrogate. The couple is already parenting their adopted kids; Amanda (32), Katie (25), Jett (20) and now their first biological child joins them too. The duo has named their daughter, Everest Hobson Lucas.

Mellody and Lucas were in a seven-year long relationship before getting married in June. In an interview, Mellody shared the secret of her successful relationship, “I think it works because we are extraordinarily open-minded people and we're open to what the universe brings us.” She added that they didn’t ever have any defined ideology about a perfect relation.
