    The Michael Bay directorial 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi has got its first trailer. It was released by Paramount Pictures, titled ‘Red Band Trailer’, and sets the tone for the forthcoming movie. 13 Hours is based on a book named ‘13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi’ by Mitchell Zuckoff which tells the true story of 6 members of a security team in Benghazi in 2012.

    The trailer reveals the plot with glimpses of the action sequences present in the film. 13 Hours revolves around 6 elite ex-military operators who protect the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi. At that time, the threat level in Benghazi was raised to ‘Critical’ and the safety of the U.S. Ambassador was at risk.

    The movie is an action thriller; and Michael Bay has a lot of experience in this genre. He will be producing the film as well, along with Erwin Stoff. The screenplay will be written by Chuck Hogan. Set for release on January 15 next year, 13 Hours will star James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma.
