Last year’s Fantastic Four reboot starred Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Susan Storm, Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The movie was disliked by the fans of the superheroes and did not do well at the box office. Teller recently opened up about the backlash and shared that it was quite tough and that he would not wish it on any other movie.

“I wasn’t starving to be a superhero. Although at the time - it was a couple of years ago - if you’re a young man in this business, a part of you is saying, ‘I need to get a Marvel project; I need to be a superhero’, because you see all these actors you respect being put in that world”, the Whiplash actor stated. He added, “I would not have wanted to be Spider-Man because I wouldn’t want the whole thing riding on my shoulders. I enjoyed the ensemble element of Fantastic Four”.

Teller also stated that there were high expectations from the film as comic books mean a lot to people. The actor can be seen on screen in ‘War Dogs’ where he shares screen space with Johan Hill. The movie has been directed by Todd Phillips.
