Musical `13` adapted by Bert V Royal

American screenwriter, playwright and former casting director, Bert V Royal is all prepared to adapt teen musical `13` into a film. The writer has been selected to make the Tony award winner`s stage show into a movie musical for CBS Films, apparently.

The plot revolves around a 13-year-old boy who goes from New York City to a small town in Indiana, explaining his fight to prevail receipt among his nobles. The making ran on Broadway for four months prior to its closing in 2009, and it featured singer-actress Ariana Grande.

The `13`, is a musical with Jason Robert Brown’s music and lyrics Dan Elish and Robert Horn’s book.
