    My heart goes out to John and Alicia and family, says Russell Crowe

    US mathematician John Forbes Nash, who was the inspiration behind Oscar winning film 'A Beautiful Mind’, recently died in a car crash with his wife. Russell Crowe, who played Nash in the movie, paid tribute to him. The 51-year-old actor expressed his thoughts on Twitter.

    "Stunned... My heart goes out to John and Alicia and family. An amazing partnership. Beautiful minds, beautiful hearts", tweeted Crowe. Even Ron Howard, the director of the film 'A Beautiful Mind’, called the couple brilliant and remarkable while passing his condolences.








    The 86-year-old Nobel Prize winner, who was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and his wife Alicia, died when their taxi crashed in New Jersey, while they were returning back from Norway. Nash began showing signs of mental illness in 1959 and was being treated for paranoid schizophrenia for a long time and eventually, his condition improved. The famous mathematician also received the Abel Prize recently.
