Nicole Kidman Desires To Essay A Comic Role

Veteran actress Nicole Kidman recently spoke about her longing to perform a comical character. The Oscar winner complains on having never been given a comedy role. On Saturday at a panel for TV critics, she said, “They always say I’m not funny”.

Continuing her conversation Nicole said, “I’m willing to fall on my face, I’m willing to get back up again. I want to keep trying”. She puts to light that she is at a point in her life where she isn’t afraid of trying new things or of failure. Kidman also mentioned that she is now learning comedy from her 9-year-old daughter.

Post the panel, Nicole came in a conversation with a group of reporters and said “The thing that makes me close to people is laughing with them, I love it”. The 50-year-old actress is currently occupied with her recent project, ‘Top Of The Lake: China Girl’. Desimartini wishes her good luck for the show.
