No Bourne for fans until 2016

With the kind of buzz and style the ‘Bourne’ movies have spread over the years, it was evident the fans would wait for the next instalment of the franchise with bated breath. It though comes as a downer as the film has been shifted to 2016 now.

Starring Jeremy Renner, next Bourne movie was to go on floors later this year to have an August 2015 release, but with numerous reasons going into account, film’s production has now been delayed. The film would now release on July 16, 2016. The main reason being considered for the shift in the date is Universal’s apparent view to have a better release time and slot for their movie ‘Straight Outta Compton’ that releases in 2015. Jeremy is all set to return as Aaron Cross in the fifth instalment of the series which Justin Lin is directing. As for the cinema lovers, they may have pretty open options as the film would now clash with ‘Ice Age 5’ scheduled for same time next year.
