Oliver Stone Appointed As President Of A Panel At Busan International Film Festival
William Oliver Stone is a prominent name when it comes to movie industry. Stone has excelled himself as a screenwriter, film director, and producer. Adding feather to his cap, the American-French filmmaker has been appointed as president of the competition jury for the 22nd Busan International film festival.
Stone is all prepped up to head jury at Busan International film festival. The panel includes Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi, French cinematographer Agnes Godard, Philippines director Lav Diaz and Korean director Jang Sun- woo. A group of Asian films in the New Currents section represents the festival's basis, will be judged by the panel.
The Busan International film festival will be held from October 12 to 21 in Busan, Korea. On a related note, the filmmaker was occupied with ‘The Putin Interviews’ few months ago. ‘The Putin Interviews’ is a four-part, four-hour television series by Oliver Stone that broadcasted from June 12 to June 15 this year.
