Patrick Stewart Ready To Return As Picard If Quentin Tarantino Directs Star Trek

After reports of Quentin Tarantino pitching an idea for an R-rated Star Trek film earlier this week, Patrick Stewart shared that he is interested in returning in his iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard. The veteran actor shared that he admires Tarantino’s films and would very much like to be a part of one. The actor said that if there was a part in the film that had something to do with old Jean-Luc, he would definitely do it.

Patrick revealed that people always ask him if he will ever return as Picard. The actor said that it’s his dream to be able to work with Tarantino. “So, if he is going to direct something to do with Star Trek and there was the possibility of dear old Jean-Luc showing up again and doing that for Mr. Tarantino, I would embrace it”, he shared.

The X-Men actor also said that even if he does not get a part in the film, he is still quite interested to see Tarantino’s take on the epic franchise. While the film has not officially been announced, Patrick sure hopes that the plans follow through. The actor first starred as Picard in ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ which was a 1987 show. It went on for 7 years and raised a huge fan following.
