Patty Jenkins To Retain As A Director For Wonder Woman 2
After the success of Wonder Woman, the makers announced of its sequel with Gal Gadot returning as the powerful Amazonian Princess with the Lasso of Truth. Though the first part was directed by Patty Jenkins, however, it was not confirmed whether she would be directing the second part also or not. And now we have heard that Warner Bros and DC have signed Patty Jenkins to direct Wonder Woman 2.
According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, the studios have managed to rope in Patty not only to helm the sequel, but also to co-write the film which they have described as “an unusually lengthy and tough negotiation”. It has also been reported that Jenkins has asked for a huge sum of money which the studios have agreed to pay her, making her as a highest paid female filmmaker. She was paid $1 million for directing the first Wonder Woman movie, so you can guess how huge amount she would be getting to helm its sequel.
Other upcoming movies of DC include Aquaman, The Flash, Shazam!, Black Adam movie, The Batman, Suicide Squad, Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps. On the work front, Gal Gadot is preparing for her upcoming movie Justice League in which she will be seen fighting evil minions of Steppenwolf. The film is set to release in November.
