Popstar Jon Bon Jovi rushes to rescue family in New York

Popstar Jon Bon Jovi rushed back to rescue his family in New York after the disastrous hurricane Sandy. The actor was on a promotional tour to UK, but boarded a private jet to return to wife Dorothea and their four children after their $24 million home was spoilt badly in the storm.

A source revealed the Daily Mirror newspaper, “He was really incredibly anxious for his family who were stuck in New Yorkin an apartmentand was desperate to be reunited with them.” ''The family house in New Jersey was also hit quite badly and he needs to go back to assess the damage and what can be salvaged.” ''He has loved his time in the UK and was here for a while yet but his family must take priority. It's been a deeply upsetting time.''

Jon was in London to promote his band’s European tour next summer.
