    According to sources, Rachael Taylor has joined the cast of Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Taylor’s character will be a major player in the series, however, and is described as the “emotional anchor” for Jessica Jones. The character is a star and a powerhouse, and required an actress who is both, Rachael is all that and more,” says show-runner Melissa Rosenberg.

    Taylor joins a cast that includes Krysten Ritter as the superhero turned private investigator, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and David Tennant as the villainous ‘Purple Man.’ Taylor will play Patricia “Trish” Walker, who comes with a superhero alias of her own. Taylor’s character will be a major player in the series, however, and is described as the “emotional anchor” for Jessica Jones. Taylor, whose credits include Grey’s Anatomy, 666 Park Avenue and ABC’s short-lived Charlie’s Angels reboot.
