Producers Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg and Mark Gordon are all set to create a new version of a 1974-mystery film, Murder on the Orient Express. The original flick was an onscreen adaptation of a novel of the same name by Agatha Christie (1934). The film was directed by Sidney Lumet and was an Oscar nominated hit too with all the thrill and drama that it had in its content.

The film then featured Albert Finney as Hercule Poirot, Lauren Bacall as Mrs. Harriet Belinda Hubbard, Ingrid Bergman as Greta Ohlsson and others. Bergman also won an Oscar for best supporting actress. It is expected that Scott, Simon and Mark too will be able to recreate the aura of the original movie. More inputs on the project are yet to be unveiled.
