Legendary actor Robert De Niro and Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese will be coming together once again for the movie I Heard You Paint Houses. The duo previously worked together on the 1973 film Mean Streets. According to Digital Spy, the shooting for the new project will commence next year.

The 72-year-old actor took to twitter to give a confirmation saying, “We are doing it... We should be doing it sometime next year. We're slowly, slowly getting it in place”. The duo has worked together on hit films like Goodfellas, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.

The development for the project has been going on since 2008. The actor also revealed on the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month that Al Pacino and Joe Pesci have been roped in for the project as well. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino have worked together on blockbusters like The Godfather Part II, Righteous Kill and Heat.
