Sacha Baron Cohen in talks to act in Alice in Wonderland’s sequel

Actor Sacha Baron Cohen is in conversation with the makers of Alice in Wonderland to star in its sequel which will reportedly be titled, Alice in Wonderland: Into the Looking Glass. The sequel is scheduled to hit the screens over Memorial Day weekend in 2016. The film also retains its lead actors Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska to reprise their key roles.

The first part was released in 2010 and Tim Burton directed it, but for the sequel, James Bobin will fill in the director’s chair. The film is slated to go on the floors by the mid of this year. Nothing much has been revealed about the role Sacha Baron Cohen is being offered with. The actor was last seen in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
