    Gravity actress Sandra Bullock is not in favour of hearing only bad news anymore. The 49-year-old actress has adopted a public charter high school which was severely affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The renovation activities of the historic campus have received immense help from Bullock's donations. Moreover the help has got huge boost from fund for scholarships, athletic equipment, band uniforms and also a health clinic. The actress said, "These kids have been working a couple of jobs, some come from hard places, but every time they walk under that roof, they know they're cared for.”
