Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy’s latest The Heat was a blockbuster recently and their fans have already started dreaming of a sequel project of the superhit comedy. But Sandra herself told about the sequel’s possibility, “I know they say never say never, but right now, I can’t imagine it.”

She went on saying, “I don’t want to ruin what Melissa and I had. If a miracle happens where [a script] shows up that really and truly outdid the first and provided an experience that was better than the first one, then I would look at it. But I’m not there.” As reported by director Paul Feig, the screenwriter of The Heat Katie Dippold has already started working on the follow up story of the cop comedy.

But still Bullock is not at all in favour of sequels after the unsuccessful ones like 2005’s Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous and 1997’s Speed 2: Cruise Control. As per the Oscar-winning actress, “If you look back on my illustrious sequel work [laughs] nothing has proven successful.” Bullock added, “A sequel is such a daunting thing, because you don’t want to lose the magic and the charm of the first one.” She will next appear onscreen this October as an astronaut in the Alfonso Cuaron-directed space thriller Gravity.
