    Filmmaker Scott Cooper was on board to direct The Stand, film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel but now it is heard that the director has stepped out of the same because of some differences. According to two individuals associated with the project, the studio Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. that hired Cooper planned to split due to “creative differences.”

    No news of replacement has come up yet. Meanwhile, Scott is busy with his latest film, Out of the Furnace, a revenge drama that will open on theatres on December 6. The actor, writer, director and producer, best known for giving direction to Crazy Heart, has also signed a horror film, which Ben Affleck turned down. Lately, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. is producing one more award winning film adaptation titled Live By the Night. The movie directed by Affleck, will be co-produced by Roy Lee and Jimmy Miller.
