He played the Bond villain, Francisco Scaramanga, in The Man with the Golden Gun. The wicked Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He was also a GOD to those who followed the Hammer Horror genre. Let's not forget Count Dooku in Star Wars. The one and only, Sir Christopher Lee has passed away.

As announced by The Telegraph, he died due to respiratory problems and heart failure on Sunday.

This man was a legend and his passing led to several loyal fans expressing their remorse on Twitter.

You were a great actor and a brilliant man. #RIP Sir Christopher.
