    Released on November 6 in the U.S., the 24th Bond film Spectre has topped the weekend box office on its opening weekend with $73 million. The Daniel Craig starrer has been extremely successful in areas where it has been released including the U.K. and U.S. The movie will hit Indian screen on November 20.

    The second spot on the top five list has been claimed by The Peanuts Movie which was released alongside Spectre. The movie pooled in $45 million on the opening weekend. The Peanuts Movie has been directed by Steve Martino. The Martian’s reign has ended as it has been pushed to the third spot. It grossed $9 million running on its sixth weekend.

    Jack Black starrer Goosebumps has secured the fourth spot with its $6.9 million on its fourth weekend. The movie has been directed by Rob Letterman and was made on a budget of $58 million, which comes as good news as Goosebumps has grossed $92 million worldwide. The fifth spot is taken by Tom Hanks starrer Bride of Spies with its $6 million.
