Star Trek 3 tilted gets a new title as ‘Star Trek Beyond’

The next of the rebooted Star Trek series under production has been given a new title as Star Trek Beyond. The third in the series is currently under production. According to reports, the title has been registered with the Motion Pictures Association of America.

Simon Pegg, the co-writer of the film along with Doug Jung said that the film will take the USS Enterprise to an unchartered territory. While filmmaker Justin Lin will be taking over as director for this film, he is currently busy with JJ Abrams who is working on Star Wars: The Force Awkens. The film has been scheduled to release on July 8^th, 2016.

While actors Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, and Zoe Saldana will reprise their respective roles from the previous, Idris Elba will join them with a new character. Seems like an interesting offering in prospect.
