Steve Kloves plans to make dark movie on The Jungle Book

Harry Potter fame screenwriter Steve Kloves is planning to make a grim and forebodingmovie on Rudyard Kiplings famous novel The Jungle Book. Despite the previous Hollywood ventureson the book failed at the box office, Kloves is very excited and wants to showcase the darker side of thefamous characters of Baloo, Mowgli and Shere Khan to the audiences. According to a Daily Mail report,Kloves is currently in talks with Warner Bros to adapt the book on the big screen. Two live action JungleBook films -- Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book and The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story -- were made in the90s but unfortunately both of them failed to attract the viewers.
