Steven Spielberg Has Not Seen His Own Films Except One!
Yes, you heard that right! The popular Hollywood director, Steven Spielberg, has not watched any of his old works except ‘ET’. In a career spinning more than four decades, Spielberg's films have spanned many themes and genres with classic hits like 'Jurassic Park,' 'Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark,' 'Schindler's List,' 'Jaws,' but he has hardly watched any of them.
It might come as a shock to you! But, one of the founding pioneers of the 'New Hollywood era', Steven, has himself revealed that he doesn't watch his own movies except for 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial' and that too under strict guidelines. According to the sources, he mentioned, “I'll show my grandkids E.T. for the first time. I'll sit next to them and tell them, 'He doesn't really die.’” In addition, he stated that he wants to guide his grandkids through the experience of it.
The co-founders of 'DreamWorks Studios' are currently promoting the upcoming HBO documentary, Spielberg, which chronicles the career of one of the greatest filmmakers in history. The 150-minute film, directed and produced by Susan Lacy, will premiere on HBO on October 7.
