    Ben Affleck starrer ‘The Accountant’ reigns at the box office on its opening weekend. The movie shows Affleck as a high performing autistic math whiz who uses his skills to make millions. Directed by Gavin O'Connor, ‘The Accountant’ saw an opening of $27 million worldwide, dominating the box office. The cast also includes Jon Bernthal and Anna Kendrick.

    Kevin Hart’s comedy documentary ‘Kevin Hart: What Now?’ saw an $11.98 million opening. Kevin performs in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. The actor-comedian has been on a roll lately. Coming in third was Emily Blunt’s ‘The Girl on the Train’, bringing in a close $11.97 million. The movie, directed by Tate Taylor, has now pooled in $79 million worldwide, on its second weekend.

    Dropping down two places was ‘Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children’, directed by Tim Burton. Running on its third weekend, the Eva Green starrer has brought in $196 million worldwide, including the $8.9 million weekend. Based on true events, ‘Deepwater Horizon’ made it to the top five list with its $6.3 million weekend. The movie has been directed by Mel Gibson and stars Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell and Gina Rodriguez. In its three week run, the film has earned $77 million worldwide.
