    Despite the mood was spoilt after the Friday mass killing at a Colorado cinema during its premiere, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, managed to pull a large number of audiences giving the film a huge opening at the box office in America. The Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway starrer final Batman film garnered an estimated $160 million over the first weekend giving it the third biggest opening in U.S. box office history after The Avengers and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. In the meantime, Batmans mask and other Batman paraphernalia have been seized from the suspect James Holmes apartment. According to an official, who refused to mention his name, said a Batman poster was apparently hanging on a wall in James Holmes 850-square-foot apartment in Aurora. The official said a computer has also been confiscated from his apartment and an examination of which could give an insight into the killers massacre plan. They said that Holmes is being held in solitary confinement at a Denver-area county detention facility and he is not cooperating with them. The suspect is scheduled for an initial hearing today and has also been assigned a public defender.
