    ‘The Haumāna’ Director Keo Woolford Passed Away

    Keo Woolford, actor, producer and director, is no more. He died on November 28, Monday, at a hospital in Oahu, Hawaii. As per reports, Keo suffered a stroke three days earlier. The actor was 49 years of age.

    He was best known for helming the award-winning feature film ‘The Haumāna’ and the East West Players stage play ‘Three Year Swim Club’. Woolford was occupied in a sequel of 'The Haumana' when he died. He had just completed the script of the film and was about to hold acting auditions for the film.

    Moreover, he acted in his self-written one-man show, like ‘I Land’ and played the role of the King of Siam in ‘Rodgers’ and Hammerstein's The King and I at the ‘London Palladium’. Keo Woolford was a recipient of the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for ‘The Haumāna’ Soundtrack. His creditable work includes ‘Godzilla’, ‘Act of Valor’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0’. It is hoped that the departed soul rests in peace.
