It has been four years now that Disney’s ‘Frozen’ debuted; but everything appears brand new when we hear the powerful lyrics of ‘Let It Go.’ Name one who wasn’t enchanted by the film? It won many hearts and today also it is watched a number of times. Well, the interesting question is that, would it have earned the acclamation that it has been receiving if it had revealed its original ending. Believe it or not, that is not how the film was supposed to end!

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the film’s producer, Peter Del Vecho, has revealed animated movie’s conclusion. “So when we started off, Anna and Elsa were not sisters. They weren’t even royal,” Del Vecho revealed. “So Anna was not a princess. Elsa was a self-proclaimed Snow Queen, but she was a villain and pure evil — much more like the Hans Christian Andersen tale. We started out with an evil female villain and an innocent female heroine, and the ending involved a big epic battle with snow monsters that Elsa had created as her army,” he said.

However, the original ending was that Prince Hans ends up being the real baddie, who is responsible for a colossal avalanche and doesn’t even considers the fact that the storm also puts Anna, Elsa, and all of Arendelle at jeopardy. Anna must persuade Elsa to help save the kingdom. However, the makers felt that the final act was not unique so that is why they changed Anna and Elsa’s characters after this epiphany, thereby altering the conclusion.
