This Man Will Helm Sequel Of ‘The Lego Movie’

‘The Lego Movie’, which released on February 7, 2014, in The United States, was a 3D computer-animated adventure-comedy film. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller helmed this flick. The sequel of this film is on the cards.

As per the recent reports, director Mike Mitchell, known for helming flicks like ‘Sky High’ and ‘Shrek Forever After’, will be directing this movie. He will replace Rob Schrab who left the second 'Lego Movie' due to creative differences. He will helm the flick for Warner Bros Animation.

It is yet undecided if any of the original voice cast that include Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman will revisit to the follow-up story. ‘The Lego Movie’ was the first film produced by Warner Animation Group in eleven years since ‘Looney Tunes: Back in Action’.

‘The Lego Movie’ won the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film and also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for "Everything Is Awesome".
