Tom Holkenborg Will Score Deadpool Movie

Known for his composition in Mad Max: Fury Road, composer Tom Holkenborg has revealed through a twitter post that he will be scoring the Deadpool movie. He stated that the work will commence today and that he is excited for it. The movie will be released on February 12 next year in the U.S.

Tom a.k.a. Junkie_XL has been previously involved in movie like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Rises where he worked alongside Hans Zimmer. The composers work will also be seen in the highly anticipated Batman vs Superman film where he will be providing music pieces specific to Batman.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role as the Merc with the Mouth. Along with Ryan, the cast will include T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax. Hugh Jackman might also make an appearance as Wolverine though there has been no official talk about it.
