    The Academy award, Golden Globe award and Emmy award winner has received a lot of fame from his acting skills in various films and now the actor is keen in showing his direction expertise. The news hovering around the town is that the actor is planning to direct a remake of 1972 flick The Cowboys, originally directed by John Wayne.

    Tommy Leepreviously wore director’s hat for 2005 films The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, The Good Old Boys and now he is stepping into filmmaking after 7 years. The original film speaks about a rancher Wil Andersen who gathered cattle drivers who later on abandon him for gold fields and how their life takes a turn after that. Lee Jones is right now working on The Family and The Homesman where he will be seen in major roles. He has also given direction for the latter.
